The Snowball Effect

What exactly is the snowball effect? Let me give you an example.
Everyday you send out 100 e-mails for your business, one day you decide to add 5 more emails. This is the start of your snowball. Five e-mails is not much but at the end of the week you have reached 35 more contacts and your snowball is at the top of the hill. It is just a little bigger but has not gathered much speed. Four weeks later your 5 extra emails per day has now reached 140 extra contacts. Your snowball is getting bigger and gathering more speed. At the end of the year you have sent out an extra 1820 emails, your snowball is huge and traveling so fast there is no way to stop it. How many of these 1820 contacts do you think will join your business? 10? 20? 30? more? This is the result of sending out a measly 5 extra e-mails, 10 minutes of your time.

Great word pictures, I would be happy to contribute to your snowball, we've had enough snow here for a long time as far as I'm concerned.

  2. Hey Donnie,

You made this too simple. A person would feel like a real slacker if he/she didn't give it a try. Good post my friend and I will look forward to your next one.
